I so called it. Dang, no wonder he was having issues with the women he gets placed with–most spiders eat the males!
OMG HE IS SO ADORABLE THOUGH WITH HIS EYEBALLS!!!
Man, Panel Six is awesome. Great expressions.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand called it.
Yaaaaay Moooo! XD Brilliant! \o/
Fantastic! I’m going to love the awkward scene that comes later!
>:D called it. go back a few pages. i TOTALLY called it
so she goes from ‘looking at your face makes me want to gouge your eyes out’ to ‘omg scary spiders let’s hug while I’m only wearing a towel?’
Well, it’s a fool who looks for logic in the chambers of the human heart.
And having a phobia can make you flip the hump out. I’m deathly afraid of fish, and as a teenager I was fully prepared to jump out my second story window if, like, my dad ever decided to come at me with a dead fish or something. (I was paranoid.) Hugging the alternate universe version of a girlfriend whose guts I hate is comparatively quite conceivable.
The eyes, expressions, body language, and panel-to-panel storytelling make this the best page ever! A classic that will be studied in cartooning schools centuries from now!
Dang, thanks, Peter! Me, I’m just hoping enough people read this comic this YEAR so my publisher will buy the next book!
According to http://www.amazon.de “Vanishing Point” will be available from November 22nd – and of course it’s possible to pre-order now. Guess what I just did? 😉
Thanks, Dieter! Now I just need about 7,999 more of you for my publisher to green light the next book. Boy, I really hope we can make it….
I’m pretty sure we can make it.
