Derek: Put a “Donation” thingie up, working with PayPal. I’ll donate. Many will, too. Kickstarter won’t let you “help funding”, they’ll only “either fund you or not”. I want to see Mythomania, Season 2, even if we can only partially fund it and the revenue can only be obtained after publishing.
iajrz, I used to have a donate button for years. I finally just got rid of it because no one used it. Believe me, it doesn’t work. At least for me.
If having to provide your credit card info is what’s stopping you, rest assured it’s really safe. I’ve donated to a kickstarter project myself and it’s totally legit and secure. That said, if you don’t want to for whatever, I certainly understand and would never pressure anyone. Thank you for your consideration though!
Also, you could set up a funding campaign in this site, with updates to the funding amount, and we could, for instance chip in thrice in three months, and that’d complete the funding IF everyone funding in KickStarter funds here, too. That’s just an idea, but I’d rather have mythomania later than not have it anytime.
