At first I thought that how Alt-Yumi’s said that this story is going to make the best episode of This American Life ever was to call attention to her hubris and naïvete, but now I’m thinking maybe it was to showcase her chutzpah and savoir faire. Also this Timi is totally just gonna take a dump in front of the Praxians.
When I design the characters I look around either in real life or on the internet to check out the general fashion of the kind of people that may be similar to the character and go from there. Also I wanted to indicate that Yumi is pretty unique and bold in her choices.
