I wouldn’t say that she’s dumb; she definitely doesn’t seem as “pleasant” as Andy’s Yumi. But maybe this is deliberate on her part, planting the seed that will lead to discord between the two of them, with her getting sent back home. Or, if she actually *wants* to be there, then this is Andy’s ticket out.
I don’t get Andy’s surprise… Of course she signed a contract, she wouldn’t be here if she didn’t.
Why would Andy automatically assume (in 1st and 2nd panel) that she signed the Premium (for life) contract? And why would he be at all surprised, it is all his doing after all…
The surprise is that she’s in for life and knows it. Andy thought that he had the weekends off or something and the whole experience would be over after a while. The fact that she calmly says “I know” should make us all suspicious and (like Justin says) SO ready for friday’s page.
Man, the art on this bad boy is getting better and better. Panel Four blows me away.
Also, I continue to envy your ability to end each page on…let’s call ‘em “curb-hangers”…cliff-hangers, but with not so far to fall. I am SO ready for Friday’s page.
Andy reacts surprised in the first panel – as if he didn’t expect Yumi to sign any contract.
If I understood correctly – there were two types of contract – normal (for a limited period and with weekends off) and premium (for life, without weekends).
Andy was tricked into signing the premium one, but I expected Yumi to be wise enough and sign the first one…
Good god, then what are you doing here? Life is too short to spend it on something that bores you! There’s a bazillion other comics I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
Don’t waste your breath on those types of people -_-
They don’t understand the time it takes to write out a good story. He’s looking for those snazzy “WOW!” effect comics with big boobies and plenty of action. Pay no attention to this philistine >:O
Panels 1 & 2 represent the best facepalm / reaction sequence I’ve seen in a while. Given the static setting of this story we’re lucky to have a cartoonist who’s an expert on subtle facial expressions and body language.
Huh.
Now this is a surprise!
Okay. But she’s going to regret it eventually… Right?
What a dumb —– this Yumi is. I hate her. And yet the other Yumi is the bomb.

Yea she knows about the for life Part because she read the dam contract. I think she has a plan.

Whew, and I was starting to worry that this never-ending conversation was going to end. Just playin’, this trapped-in-a-room thing is super boring.

God damn, these cliffhangers on every page.
This means that alt-Yumi isn’t going to WANT to be sent home, despite what Andy wishes. Oh geez…
this feels like a build up i’ll appreciate more when its in book form. but im rly curious of her motive.
In my opinion, this comic deserves way more attention than it’s currently getting.
Agreed. I can’t wait to see copies of it in store bookshelves
that’s why I print it by myself
how many pages in Part 2 ?
