I think Andy Go meant “Money isn’t everything” in that last panel.
I believe this, in anthropological terms, is what is known as a ‘rupture’.
Yeaaah…. Not much you can do with that money if you’re stuck in a zoo for the rest of your life.
Looks like he’ll have to draw his way out of this one.
I really enjoyed drawing Andy freaking out.
Great work on the art here, Les! You’ve done a great job of fitting in to Derek’s model while adding your own spin! Great “acting” on the freakouts and quiet moments both!
I’m pretty sure that $250,000 a year means nothing if you can’t spend it back on earth
Love the folds of Andy freaking out. Your art is great, Les.
So let me get this straight. When I specifically said “What am I signing
here exactly?” you specifically explained the details of the basic contract,
which in no way is applied to the contract he is signing right now.
Therefore, you intentionally did not answer his original question, which
counts as misleading him and committing contract fraud.
Then again, contracts are based upon laws that are firmly established
between the national jurisdiction representing both Andy and C.I.S.
In order for the contract to be valid at all was if there are an entire
set of laws established between the dimensions, which is not
possible if they hadn’t even been made known to the public. By that
alone, the contract should be void.
Also, why do they even bother to give this guy $250,000 if he can’t
even go back to his world to spend it. This whole system was obviously
designed to make it easier to “lure” people like Andy into voluntarily
follow them to a different dimension and trapping him into a zoo.
The job interview allows the Praxians to analyze the human’s social
network so that they won’t be “missed” and the immediacy of the
starting of the work reduces any chance of him contacting the outside world.
Man, these Praxians are smarter than I thought. Anyway, Andy,
