Hey everyone, welcome to the brand new TUNE website! The story continues at last every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday right here at tunecomic.com. The site is still brand new, so if you find any bugs or missing pages or something, please comment and let me know!
Big thanks to Mark Siegel and everyone at First Second Books/Macmillan for making this happen. I also wanted to say thank you to Josh Korwin and his design team for putting together such an awesome looking site.
And of course, everyone, please welcome the new artist of TUNE– Les McClaine!
Well, here we go! Chapter 11 begins! I hope you’ll enjoy the rest of this story.
best,
Derek

Wow, that’s different. Never seen this kind of design on a webcomic before, very interesting and quite fitting indeed.
“gyaaaah” indeed.
Good to have you back!
Attention readers – after you enjoy Andy’s scream, I suggest you hit the “first” link and re-read a baker’s dozen pages.
Hello, Les McClaine. Welcome and thanks for picking up where DKK left off, thus enabling his readers to continue enjoying his story. And DKK, I won’t lie, I miss your art so much, but I hope you’re doing well and I’ll be reading enthusiastically all the same.
Thank you, guys! It’s good to know a few people are still reading.
itzaviv– Actually I’ve been using this style/format for years. Right after Same Difference, in fact. In print, you can see it in the 3rd story of The Eternal Smile.
Leadi- Thank you for keeping an open mind! I hope you’ll eventually come to appreciate Les as much as I am.
What a terrific start! Welcome back!
oh yes, this was the right thing to do. look at this delicious wordpress. this format feels so much better than some livejournal somewhere. shit is getting real.
Hey, just wanted to say I adore your comic! I only just discovered it recently (after someone said my artwork looks like your early work haha! I’m rather curious, do you have any early work up on your website??) so I haven’t read this far yet. But I just love it so much already, I adore your straight forward approach to artwork very much, and the story is just fantastic!! Its really nice that right from the beginning you’ve already introduced a very detailed and personal character, I’m really loving it, can’t wait to catch up to the newest chapter!
A new artist too? This should be interesting!
Thanks, Theorah! I love character-driven stories so I’m really happy to hear your appreciate all the details I’ve been laying on Andy. I really want to make him feel like a real person. Thank you for the comment!
I found you for the first time this evening via a link from BoingBoing, and curious, started at the beginning, thinking I’d read a few pages. Well, having sat here for a few hours now and read it all straight through, I’ve got to say your webcomic is fantastic!
I love getting drawn into a story so completely as to not be able to stop, and I’m disappointed only that there’s not more yet. The storyline and artwork are both excellent, and I look forward to following along as it progresses. Thanks for a wonderful evening’s entertainment.
I sometimes worry that people won’t have the patience for a story that unfolds this deliberately slow on the internet, so it’s really great to hear that it sucked you in, Willy. Thanks for letting me know! Always nice to have a new reader.
This is awesome! I’m loving it.
Looks great! Not disappointed in the artist change one bit. Looking forward to seeing what you two are gonna dish out.
Thank you for all the encouraging words, everyone. It’s great to be back!
It’s good to finally have you back. :B
Oh wow! I didn’t even notice the change in artists. Both your styles are seamless!
